Road Trip Games is a children’s travel app developed by Wouter Neuteboom under the name Slashforward. The app is designed to be used without an account, adverts or hidden tracking. This page explains exactly what happens to data.

What data is stored locally?

The selected language, home country, completed onboarding and found items are stored locally on the phone or tablet. This keeps game progress available when the app is opened again.

No collection or sharing

Road Trip Games does not send personal data to the developer or other companies. The app does not use accounts, analytics, adverts, tracking, purchases, location services, the camera, the microphone or messaging features.

Children

Children do not need to enter a name, date of birth, photo, location or any other personal information. The app has no chat, public profile or user-generated content.

Open-source components

The app contains locally bundled open-source code, fonts and illustrations. Playing the games does not connect to the creators of these components or to other external services.

Device backups

If system backups are enabled on the device, the operating system may include local app data in a backup. This is managed through Google, Apple and device settings, not by Road Trip Games or Slashforward.

Storage and deletion

Local data remains on the device until it is reset or deleted. Found items can be reset separately for each game. All local data can be removed by clearing the app data in the device settings or by deleting the app.

Changes

If the app or this privacy policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. A new version of the policy will be published here and inside the app.
