Delete inside the app
Sign in, open Profile, choose Account & safety, then Delete account. Type DELETE and confirm. Starfall first attempts to unregister this device from remote push and cancel Starfall-managed local notifications. Those cleanup steps can fail. After the backend confirms deletion, the app clears its authentication session and signs you out. If you do not receive a clear confirmation, contact support before assuming the account has been deleted.
Request deletion without the app
Use the direct email link below and send the request from the email address used for Starfall. We will verify account ownership before processing it, normally complete a verified request within one month and confirm when it is finished. If applicable law allows more time for a complex request, we will explain the reason and timing. Never send an authentication link or password.
Data that is deleted
After the backend confirms the request, the deletion process removes the authentication account and active-service copies of your commander profile, colonies, resources, buildings, fleets, research, scans, missions, friendships, conversations, messages, notification preferences, registered push devices and linked diagnostics. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Limited retained records
A limited safety record may remain after deletion, including report evidence and identifiers needed to investigate or prevent abuse, enforce the rules, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. We keep it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Deleted data may remain in protected backup or recovery copies until ordinary rotation and is not returned to active use unless needed for disaster recovery.
Data remaining on your device
Some local preferences, seen or read markers, recovery records and the random installation ID may remain on your device after account deletion. Clear Starfall’s app data or uninstall the app to remove them. Eligible app data may also exist in an operating-system device backup until that backup expires or is deleted.
Sign in with Apple
If you used Sign in with Apple, after deleting your Starfall account remove Starfall from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings unless the app explicitly confirms that Apple access was revoked.
