Where these rules apply
These Guidelines apply to commander names, profiles, direct messages, diplomacy, reports and any other interaction or content provided through Starfall. They apply alongside the Terms of Service. Competition, raids and strategic deception that stay within the game rules are allowed; abuse directed at the person behind another commander is not.
Respect other commanders
Disagreement and strategic rivalry are welcome. Targeted harassment, intimidation, humiliation, hateful conduct, sexual harassment, threats or unwanted repeated contact are not. Do not encourage self-harm or celebrate credible harm to another person.
Prohibited content
Child sexual abuse and exploitation, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving minors, is prohibited. Do not share credible threats, hateful slurs, graphic violence intended to shock, sexual exploitation, scams, spam, illegal goods or instructions, content that infringes another person’s rights, or material intended to expose private information. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services as well as reporting the issue to us.
Play fairly
Do not use cheats, unauthorized automation, modified clients or exploits; manipulate rankings through collusion, account sharing or multiple accounts; intentionally disrupt the service; evade a block or suspension; or conceal a serious vulnerability. Official Starfall-controlled bots are identified game systems. Report suspected exploits privately and do not teach others how to abuse them.
Protect privacy
Do not post another person’s private information or pressure anyone to share personal contact details. Never request passwords, authentication links, access tokens or payment details through chat. Do not impersonate another person or use Starfall for phishing, fraud or off-platform account trading.
Block and report
Use Block to stop direct social interaction. Use Report commander or Report message to send a private evidence snapshot to the moderation queue. A message report may include the reported message and limited nearby conversation context so an authorized reviewer can assess it. Make reports honestly; coordinated, knowingly false or retaliatory reports also break these rules.
How moderation works
Starfall may use automated word filters and rate limits, but automation does not make every moderation decision. Authorized reviewers assess private reports using the available evidence, context, severity, risk and history. Blocking limits contact with that commander; it is separate from a moderation decision. Reports are kept private as far as reasonably possible, but we may act or disclose information when needed to protect someone or comply with law.
Enforcement and appeals
A response may include a warning, access restriction, temporary suspension or account termination. Serious safety, security or legal risks may require immediate action; repeated behavior can lead to stronger action. Contact support if you believe a moderation decision is wrong and include the commander name and relevant date. Do not send passwords, authentication links or unnecessary personal information.
Direct contact
Need help with a safety issue?
Use the in-app Block and Report actions when available. For an urgent account-safety concern, contact Slashforward without sending private authentication details.
